Come build the health care system of tomorrow, making it more responsive, affordable, and equitable.The Clinical Administrative Coordinators (CAC) provide administrative support to Health Services teams through a variety of tasks designed to help teams promote the independence and well-being of Members while meeting State contract requirements. CACs follow identified processes, meet expected deadlines and deliver exceptional customer service. Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.Location: Remote in the state of Kansas or Missouri - most live within 50 miles of the Overland Park, KS Office.If you reside within 50 miles of Overland Park, KS, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote role as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: Sending correspondence to Members and providers such as service plans and lettersEntering requests for home and community based service authorizations identified in the Member service planUpdating Member information in the Health Plan's care management system, such as eligibility and program linesCompleting administrative tasks for identified HCBS Waiver Programs.Research Member information in multiple systems including the care management system, the State eligibility system, and authorization and billing systems. Sending requests to update information as neededConsistently follow defined processes, meet identified timelines and meet established productivity expectationsPerforms other duties as assignedYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED (or higher)2+ years of Clerical or Administrative work experience2+ years of experience using the telephone and computer as primary instruments to perform job dutiesIntermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook)Access to a designated quiet workspace in your home (separated from non-workspace areas) with the ability to secure Protected Health Information (PHI)Reside in a location that can receive a high-speed internet connection (additional information on UnitedHealth Group approved internet providers and restrictions will be provided)Preferred Qualifications: Medicare and/or Medicaid experience1+ years of customer service experience1+ year of experience with prior authorizations and CPT codesOrganization and critical thinking skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.98 to $32.12 per hour based on full-time employment.
