This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant setting, delivering excellent customer relations and food industry expertise. *Responsibilities* * Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit * Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast * Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities * Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation * Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties * Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained at all times * Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders * Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction * Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies *Requirements* * Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, including fine dining or nightclub settings * Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable * Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods * Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales * Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy * Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures * Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles, or food industry positions is advantageous * Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability preferred This position offers an engaging environment where hospitality skills are valued and developed.
