Led by CEO Peter Rahal, Former CEO of RXBAR, David is working to become the leading consumer food brand focused on high-protein foods in North America and beyond.Role & Responsibilities:As an Associate / Manager on the Manufacturing team at David, you will own execution across our co-manufacturing network. This is a high-accountability, execution-first role responsible for ensuring production plans translate into reliable output, disciplined cost control, and scalable operational systems.You will lead production planning, forecasting, and co-manufacturer performance, driving accountability across scrap and yield, scheduling, attainment, capacity, throughput, quality, and continuous improvement. You’ll build the analytical visibility and operational rigor needed to scale our manufacturing network efficiently.This role blends rigorous modeling with hands-on ownership, partnering across Quality, R&D, Procurement, Fulfillment, Finance, and Commercialization to define and execute critical priorities with full accountability. Success requires high standards, humility, and the ability to align and challenge stakeholders to elevate team performance.In this role you will:Operate in a highly dynamic manufacturing environment where problem solving under pressure is expectedBuild and maintain advanced Excel models that automate core manufacturing workflows and support cross-functional business executionIdentify and close gaps in systems, data flows, and operating processes; implement scalable solutions that improve visibility and accelerate decision-makingEngage directly with co-manufacturers on a weekly basis to surface risks early, drive alignment, and improve performance through disciplined follow-throughLead high-impact analytical and operational workstreams from problem definition through measurable executionOwn co-manufacturer performance across:- Process discipline and operational rigor- Production scheduling and execution oversight- Consumption reporting and reconciliation- Scrap tracking and yield optimization- Capacity utilization and redundancy planning- Production attainment and variance analysis- Throughput performance and continuous improvementWhat you'll bring:4+ years of experience in a fast-paced, highly analytical environment (investment banking, private equity, hedge fund, equity research, early-stage startup)Preferred: experience in investment banking with strong technical modeling exposure (CPG experience not required) or prior high-growth operating experienceHigh motor, strong intellectual curiosity, and a demonstrated willingness to take ownership beyond defined scopeAdvanced Excel proficiency with demonstrated experience building structured modelsAbility to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with limited structureLow ego, high standards - you hold a hard line on performance while remaining open to being wrong and learning quickly; no task is beneath you and nothing is too small when it improves executionStrong judgment and attention to detail - you care about getting it exactly rightClear, direct communication skills and comfort holding stakeholders accountablePracticalities:This is a full-time role.Compensation: $130 - 180k per year.
