Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a secure and safe environment, ensuring adherence to security protocols, and responding to on-site emergencies.
Armed Security Supervisor Responsibilities:
Provide direction and instruction to assigned security personnel through daily rounds of designated location
Immediately respond to on-site emergencies, offering support as required.
Train and supervise assigned employees, ensuring they fully understand their duties and responsibilities.
Be available for county inspections and provide support to employees during shifts.
Offer technical and administrative guidance to assigned personnel.
Ensure adequate coverage to meet all county security requirements.
Monitor and enforce compliance with security protocols, addressing any deviations and instructing staff on proper procedures.
Respond to requests for assistance from assigned employees.
Maintain thorough knowledge of radio usage and codes, providing training to staff as needed.
Conduct investigations of security incidents and prepare detailed reports.
Provide relief coverage for employees as necessary.
Conduct roll call briefings, including:Inspection of assigned personnel.
Briefing on previous shift activities and incidents.
Discussion of potential security risks, special events, and other concerns.
Issuance of necessary equipment, including earpiece radios.Benefits:

Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of paid security experience within the last 3 years.
Prior armed security experience required.
Valid firearm permit and compliance with state/local regulations.
Strong understanding of security procedures, emergency response, and de-escalation techniques.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
