Payroll Specialist

Overview In this role you support Major Accounts Comprehensive Services clients, guiding them on WFN, PayX, ezLM, Portal, and HRB. You investigate questions and issues, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and help clients with payroll practices and tax considerations. You address a variety of inquiries, perform initial troubleshooting, and operate within a cross-functional service environment. This position offers exposure to payroll systems, taxation topics, and client-facing problem solving with a strong emphasis on service quality and accuracy. ResponsibilitiesProvide application/navigation support for WFN, PayX, ezLM, Portal, and HRBAssist clients with data maintenance, configuration changes, and setup in AutoPay Mainframe, WFN, ezLM, HRB, and PortalComplete new feature setup requests (e.g., group term life, HSA, direct deposit calculations, special calculations, benefit accruals)Address payroll processing questions and issues; perform initial troubleshootingResearch using online tools and resources to respond to payroll, pay practice, and payroll tax inquiriesCollaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve issues and meet client expectationsEscalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate internal groups; communicate status and resolution to clientsLead complex projects such as tax amendments, configuration updates, and data reconciliationsResearch historical data for adjustments; assist with tax changes and client educationSupport proactive client communications and guidance through assigned client groups Key requirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred)Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experienceBasic knowledge of payroll tax deposits, filings, and wage-and-hour lawsProficiency with WFN, Portal, PR/HR modules, TA module; familiarity with AutoPay Mainframe, LUMIN, and ADP toolsExperience with benefits, 401k, and related payroll computations may be preferredStrong verbal and written communicationExcellent professional customer serviceStrong organizational skillsWFN (Portal)PR Module, HR Module, TA ModuleWage Garnishments
