VDC Project Manager - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
Position: VDC Project Manager Reports to: Director, VDCLocation: Columbus, OhioPay Range: $105,000 - $135,000We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.Superior is looking for a highly motivated and organized VDC Project Manager to join our fast-paced team. This position will work on several innovative and exciting projects in a variety of market sectors including data centers, higher education, healthcare, enterprise, and industrial projects. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.Key ResponsibilitiesLead BIM project teams (modelers, VDC coordinators/designers, and BIM managers), providing clear guidance on scope, deliverables, and timelinesOwn all BIM project deliverables per contract, including 2D layouts, 3D coordinated models, prefabrication sheets, and install drawingsEnsure high-quality BIM output and compliance with the full project schedule from kickoff to closeoutManage project finances, including budget tracking, cost control, and change ordersChair project meetings and provide regular updates to customersReview estimates, design drawings, specifications, and BIM execution plansCollaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Project Operations, and Field teams to ensure alignmentUphold and evolve departmental BIM standardsBuild client trust through responsive communication, strong collaboration, and proactive problem-solvingYour CharacteristicsYou're organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detailYou're a great communicator, a team player, and ready to work with colleagues across our organizationYou're a leader and are effective at interfacing with customers and executivesYou're skilled in motivating and mentoring junior colleaguesYou're a problem solver and take ownership of resolving issues in timely mannerYour ExpertiseRequired: You earned an Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldRequired: You have at least 3 years of experience in VDC/BIM, including Bluebeam, Navisworks, Revit, and shop drawingsRequired: You have at least 5 years of experience in commercial project management or construction managementRequired: You have at least 7 years of experience working as a consulting electrical engineer/designer or field electricianOur BenefitsWe offer a range of professional and personal perks that you can enjoy as a member of Superior.
