Remote Attorney

A nationally recognized defense litigation firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity for a motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, sophisticated litigation environment and is interested in handling complex, high-stakes defense matters. The role is fully remote and offers strong potential for long-term conversion. The firm is open to reviewing junior, mid-level, or senior candidates.Key Responsibilities:Manage a litigation caseload in defense matters, including complex product liability and related civil litigationDraft, review, and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documentsConduct legal research and develop case strategy in coordination with senior attorneys and partnersHandle discovery, including depositions, written discovery, and document review oversightParticipate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparationCollaborate with trial teams to support case development and courtroom readinessMaintain strong client communication and support a client-focused litigation approachQualifications:Active California Bar licensePrior experience in litigation defense preferred, but not requiredAbility to manage multiple matters independently in a remote environmentComfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented litigation structureAdditional Details:Fully remote positionContract-to-hire structure with potential for long-term placementOpportunity to work within a nationally respected and highly sophisticated defense practiceExposure to complex, high-value litigation and trial teams with strong mentorship and collaboration
