Currency Trader

We are looking to add an Associate Trader to our growing Currency & Commodities Trading team. This individual will be directly involved in establishing, directing, and implementing currency trading strategies. Responsibilities will include trading, transaction cost analysis, risk management, and systems development. This role is located in Irmo, SC, and trading hours from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm EST*. Independent Contractor. Commission Only. No charge for Orientation. Orientation, training*, and performance* reviews will be conducted in person at the local library. Meeting times are scheduled for two hours (2) for each session & you will be selected to participate at 9:00 am, 11:00 am or 1:00 pm. *There are fees for account activation, training, and performance reviews. The monthly fee for the trading platform is $50 per month*. The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics. MBA/CFA or progress toward desired. 2-4 years of relevant foreign exchange experience for associate trader preferred; 4 - 6 years of relevant foreign exchange experience for trader preferred Knowledge of electronic execution platforms and trading systems Knowledge of trading costs and settlement practices. Creative problem-solving skills. Technology skills, including Zoom, Google chat, Project Management Analytical, detail-oriented, and precise with numbers with a strong attention to detail.
