ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Perform general accounts payable duties including coding and processing invoices to the general ledger with a high degree of accuracy for multiple divisionsAnalyze and reconcile high volume of vendor accountsEnsure accounts payables are closed timely for month end financial reportingAssist staff and vendors with billing, coding and payment questionsMonitor, organize, and respond professionally & efficiently to incoming emailPerforms three-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents prior to payment.Maintains organized filing and recordkeeping systems for Accounts Payable documentation.Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skillsDemonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationshipsPractice punctual and reliable attendancePerform other duties as assignedRequirementsJOB REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent3+ years accounts payable experienceExperience working with Windows operating system and Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience using document management softwareDemonstrate strong organizational, multi-tasking, analytical, investigative and problem-solving skillsDemonstrate a commitment to excellence, high standards and strong internal and external customer serviceProven track record of being dependable, with the ability to self-manage, exercise good judgment and exhibit a desire to grow professionallyFrequently climb stairs, lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 poundsPass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employmentPossess a valid driver license and maintain a safe driving recordPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCollege courses in accounting, business administration or similar fields of studySCHEDULEThis is a full-time, in person, 40 hours per week position. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS$24.00 - $28.00/hour.
