Project Controls Specialist/Scheduler

Seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist/Scheduler in Mississippi or Arkansas to support large capital projects within the utility, power generation, EPC, refinery, or heavy industrial sectors. This role will focus on schedule development, project reporting, cost and risk analysis, and project performance management using Primavera P6 and other project controls tools.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using Primavera P6.Evaluate schedule, cost, and risk data to provide project insights and recommendations.Create project dashboards, metrics, and performance reports.Support cost control, forecasting, change management, and risk management activities.Conduct schedule and portfolio analysis for capital projects and multi-year budgets.Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.Support projects executed under EPC and other contract structures.Assist with project controls best practices, reporting, and business case development.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).4+ years of project controls, scheduling, or capital project management experience.Experience supporting large capital projects in utilities, power generation, refinery, petrochemical, offshore O&G, or heavy industrial environments.Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6; experience with Microsoft Project, Acumen Fuse, and schedule risk analysis tools preferred.Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost management, risk management, change management, and project reporting.Experience working with EPC contracts preferred.Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.Preferred CertificationsPMP (PMI)AACEI Certifications (CCP, PSP, EVP, etc.) *This Company does NOT offer VISA transfer, sponsorship, or relocation to United States **Progressive Recruitment has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what is reasonably expected to be paid for the position.
