Job Description Role SummaryAs a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining our standards of excellence.Job Details Position Type: Hourly, Full TimeWork Hours: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:00pm – 11:00pm Pay Range: $16.00 - $19.00/hour, depending on experience plus, $2.00/hour shift premiumWork Location: MC (905 S Jackson St, Mount Carroll, IL 61053) Reports To: Production Supervisor Key Responsibilities Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specificationsEnsure all items meet our strict quality control requirementsPerform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustmentsInterpret blueprints and use basic measuring instrumentsComplete all necessary documents accurately and thoroughlyMaintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with 5S standardsAdhere strictly to safety, environmental, and quality policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned. Skills/CompetenciesAbility to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructionsAbility to take initiative, demonstrating the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion without supervisionAbility to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with team members and internal customersAbility to read and understand blueprintsProficiency in basic computer and mathematical skills. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentPrevious industrial manufacturing experience is strongly preferredDemonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gapsHistory of reliable attendance record and punctuality - essential to support production timelines and team operations.
