Across its nationwide infrastructure of advanced manufacturing facilities, Applied continuously supports a balanced mix of next-generation technology and platform development, large scale production programs, and aftermarket sustainment for enduring platforms.EOE StatementApplied Aerospace and Defense is an equal opportunity employer.DescriptionRole Summary/PurposeUnder general supervision, the Material Support & Logistics Specialist provides general support focused on the movement of materials and tools throughout the shop which includes transportation, handling, and shipping.Pay Range: $33.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.Essential ResponsibilitiesProvides general material handling support throughout the site, including but not limited toStockroom, production, shipping and receiving.Data entry of all received material/hardware in ERP (Epicor) software systemNavigating customer portals for appropriate bar codes and shipping methods, according to customer specifications.Ensure materials are labeled, stored, and handled according to aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA, ITAR).Coordinate with freight carriers and logistics providers to arrange pickups and track deliveries.Loads, unloads and drives material or tools to destination either inside or outside the site in accordance with established schedulePrepares material or product for shipping- includes crating, boxing, labeling and examining for specificationsUnpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
