In this role you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by coordinating the shipment of finished goods, purchasing and tracking designated indirect materials, and completing the final receiving of raw materials and subcontracted items. This role ensures materials and products flow efficiently through the facility while meeting quality, customer, and regulatory requirements. The position works closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Purchasing, and Customer Service to support on-time delivery and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.ResponsibilitiesFinished Goods ShippingCoordinate and execute all finished goods shipments from the manufacturing facility to internal and external customersEnsure shipments align with production schedules, customer requirements, and delivery commitmentsPrepare, verify, and process all shipping documentation, including:Certificates of Conformance (C of C)Bills of Lading (BOLs)Shipping Letters of InstructionProforma and Commercial InvoicesITN filings (as applicable)Advance Ship Notices (ASN)Schedule freight, communicate with carriers, and track shipments to completionReceiving & Quality IntegrationPerform final receiving transactions for raw materials and subcontracted componentsVerify received materials meet purchase order specifications, quality requirements, and documentation standardsCollaborate with Quality and Purchasing to resolve discrepancies, nonconformances, or documentation issues prior to release to productionManufacturing CoordinationWork closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, Production, and Customer Service to resolve material flow, shipment issues, and production-related expeditesSupport priority orders and critical production schedules as neededEnsure inventory transactions accurately reflect manufacturing consumption and shipment activitiesRequirementsRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred35 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to shipping, receiving, or inventory controlExperience working with ERP/MRP systems and strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office required)Skills and CompetenciesStrong understanding of manufacturing material flow and production support requirementsExceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervisionEffective communication and collaboration skills across production, warehouse, quality, and purchasing teamsProactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvementThis position is at our East Hanover, NJ location.Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.00 per hourOther Benefits IncludeMedical, Dental and Vision401 (k) with company matchHoliday, Vacation and Sick TimeTuition ReimbursementHealth Savings Accounts (HSA)Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Cigna Wellness Incentive ProgramEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Short Term DisabilityGroup Life and Accidental InsuranceSun Life Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity InsuranceSmoking Cessation ProgramPet InsuranceUS Pay TransparencyThe base salary for this role will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, experience, and internal consistency.If your salary requirements exceed the advertised range and you remain interested in Weiss-Aug, we encourage you to apply.Weiss-Aug is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
