B Tech / Remove and Replace Technician
Seeking an experienced and dependable automotive technician to perform remove-and-replace work, basic mechanical repairs, and general shop support. Duties include removing and replacing parts, assisting with inspections, maintaining a clean work area, and following shop safety and quality standards. Automotive experience required. Must be dependable, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Remove and replace automotive parts and components as directed by management or lead technicians
Perform basic mechanical repairs and service work on a variety of vehicles
Install parts such as radiators, alternators, starters, suspension components, brakes, belts, hoses, batteries, and other bolt-on components
Assist with inspections to identify worn, damaged, or failed parts
Follow repair orders and complete assigned work in a timely and accurate manner
Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely and properly
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate with service advisors, managers, and other technicians regarding vehicle status and repair needs
Follow all company safety procedures and shop policies
Ensure all work meets company quality standards
Test drive vehicles when needed, if authorized and properly licensed
Assist with other shop duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous automotive repair experience required
Basic mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
Ability to remove and replace parts efficiently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
Ability to lift heavy parts and stand for long periods
Preferred Skills
Experience with brakes, suspension, cooling system repairs, and general under-hood work
Ability to follow repair procedures and manufacturer guidelines
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more with assistance when needed
Ability to work in a shop environment with heat, noise, and automotive fluids
Compensation & Package
Starting at $23/hr DOE

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
