CAD Technician

Position: CAD TechnicianCompensation: $ 25 - 27 /hour, depending on experienceLocation: Bloomington, MinnesotaInceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled CAD Technician to join their team!Join a dynamic team in a leading engineering firm focused on power grid infrastructure projects. This opportunity offers a chance to grow within the engineering design career path, starting with a role that supports critical infrastructure projects. The position is open due to expansion and the need to enhance the reliability and security of the power grid.Key Responsibilities & Duties:Provide drafting and CAD support for electrical projectsDevelop drawings and documentation for engineering design deliverablesUpdate existing drawings and create new documentationUtilize Autodesk-based tools, including AutoCAD, Inventor, and RevitCollaborate with engineers and designers on technical drawingsAssist in improving reliability, security, and expansion of the power gridSupport documentation updates and design revisionsAssist with continuous drafting detail improvement effortsRequired Qualifications & Experience:Experience with CAD software, ideally AutoCAD, Revit, or InventorDrafting background from education or professional experienceStrong understanding of CAD software functionsInterest in engineering design and electrical infrastructureHigh School Diploma/GED and college coursework in drafting technologyMinimum 1 year relevant experienceAutoCAD experience requiredNice to Have Skills & Experience:Exposure to other CAD platforms or MicroStationSpecialized CAD certification preferredElectrical design or drafting courseworkPerks & Benefits:3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insuranceVoluntary and Long-term disability insurancePaid time off, 401k, and holiday payWeekly direct deposit or pay card depositOther Information:Collaborative and team-oriented office environmentFlexible schedule outside of core hoursEligible for 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off)Opportunity for growth into Electrical Designer rolesCompany values camaraderie and teamworkIf you are interested in learning more about the CAD Technician opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
