DutiesInclude Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly manner. Collect and verify personal, demographic, insurance, and medicalinformation for patient registration. Ensure that all required consent forms, insurance verification, andfinancial responsibility forms are completed. Communicate with patients regarding billing, payment policies, andother relevant information as needed. Answer incoming calls to the hospital\'s main PBX system promptlyand professionally. Direct calls to the appropriate departments, staff members, ormedical units as required. Provide assistance to callers, including answering questions oroffering information related to hospital services. Offer excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors,addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner. Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient information into theelectronic systems Collaborate effectively with the admissions and healthcare team toensure the smooth flow of patients. Assist other departments as needed, ensuring efficient communicationbetween teams during evening shifts. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance withHIPAA and other privacy regulations. Follow hospital policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secureenvironment for patients and staff.RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent preferredExperience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.Certifications: CPR/BLSEOE
