With 15 beds in the department, the facility maintains a supportive environment for both patients and providers while delivering quality women's healthcare services.Opportunity:Physician - Obstetrics and GynecologyJob Details:7-on/7-off schedule preferred with ongoing opportunities into the yearAverage of 10 patient encounters per shiftMust be board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and GynecologyManage low risk pregnancies and perform routine deliveries including vaginal and low forcepsHandle complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACsPerform decision-making for C-sections as requiredConduct OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted) with performance and interpretation capabilitiesPerform amniocentesis procedures and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerationsProvide office/minor gynecology services including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.Perform surgical gynecology including open procedures and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor proceduresHandle operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA'sMust have active North Carolina medical license (no IMLC accepted)Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALSCredentialing timeframe approximately 90 daysLodging available at Hampton Inn, Henderson NC or Airbnb optionsRDU is the nearest airportCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.by Jobble
