Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, utilizing advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing products. Ensure all food production complies with food safety regulations and industry standards. Package finished products attractively for retail display or catering orders. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak service times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food handling guidelines. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their inquiries about menu items. Skills Proven experience in cake decorating and pastry production within a professional kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food handling. Proficiency in various cooking techniques, including baking and food preparation. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment used in food production. Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
