To carry out objectives and goals of the strategic plan to better serve the community. To perform routine shelving and organizing of materials. To perform basic repair of materials.RequirementsEssential Job FunctionsOrganizes and shelves library materialsPulls requested library materials from shelvesFiles magazinesOrganizes magazine collectionMaintains orderly appearance shelvesCleans, recovers, and makes minor repairs to library materialsFiles movies or cart of mixed materials as neededAttends conferences, workshops, seminars, and training to maintain knowledge as reflected in the training curriculumKeeps abreast of information by regularly reading email, minutes, the staff website and by attending staff meetings. The supervisor may require other related duties.
