University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) – Galveston, Texas is a $2.2 billion academic health science center comprised of five hospitals, extensive outpatient clinics, and schools of Medicine, Nursing, Health Professions, Public and Population Health, and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
The Cardiovascular Medicine Division at UTMB is actively recruiting an Electrophysiology Cardiologist at any rank for its expanding Division. The successful candidate will become an integral part of our growing division and will work in a well‑managed robust multi‑faceted cardiology practice with a large EP procedural volume. The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is rapidly expanding with >25 physicians currently. The successful candidate will be expected to expand our clinical programs and provide clinical care to patients at all campuses, including the main UTMB campus in Galveston and its satellite location at the Clear Lake campus. All faculty members will also be expected to mentor residents, fellows, and medical students who rotate through the program.
Requirements
Board certified (or BE) in ABIM and Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP).
Completed a General Cardiology Fellowship program.
Must be able to obtain a valid, unrestricted Texas state medical license.
