Construction Project Manager

Your Impact WNA is seeking an entry- to mid-level Project Manager to help lead and support construction projects across the markets we serve. This role ensures project success and client satisfaction, thriving in a collaborative and results driven environment. The Project Manager will have solid experience working on a construction site and/or hands-on experience and familiarity with HVAC, electrical and plumbing building systems. This role will work alongside project engineers and play a key role is advancing our mission and vision. This opportunity is available at our Pittsburgh office. Project Manager PrioritiesMaintain strong communication, manage expectations and ensure deliverables align with client goalsSchedule project kick-off with Principal in charge and provide weekly updatesCollaborate and coordinate across all disciplines daily and conduct site visits as neededMonitor costs, manage time placed on phases and change ordersCreate/strengthen current relationships with clients and external teams.Reviews proposal, defines scope clearly and manages changesSupports the Project Engineer to ensure drawings and submittals meet WNA, industry and client standardsManages project coordination, meetings, schedules, and deadlinesManages budgets, hours, and project invoicingOversees quality check and assurance reviews and deadlinesCoordinates changes with entire project teamManages and completes all closeout documentsCommunicates weekly with all project stakeholders and coordinate with all internal resources. What You NeedMinimum 3+ years experience managing construction projects in various markets (commercial, education, etc.) from start to finishExperience working on a construction site, and proven hands-on working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection building systemsExperience managing multiple construction projects in various phases and across disciplinesStrong understanding of how building systems are designed and ability to read construction documentsStrong understanding of project workflows, managing budgets, schedules and project documentationProven ability to coordinate with contractors, vendors, and cross-discipline teamsProficiency in: Microsoft Office 365 and project management softwareDemonstrates a high level of personal integrity, professionalism and self awarenessPossesses excellent collaboration, facilitation, communication, and analytical skillsPhysical requirements: climb stairs and use a ladder as neededValid drivers license for driving to construction sites and a minimum of 40% travel is requiredAssociates or Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction, Engineering or related field preferred; PE, PMP or OSHA-30 a plus Why WNA Our firm continues to thrive in an ever-competitive industry where reputation matters.
