Assembler/Material Handler

Duties Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools in accordance with blueprints and schematics. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate assembly and material handling. Measure parts with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math techniques to verify specifications. Use blueprint reading skills to interpret mechanical drawings and ensure proper assembly sequences. Handle materials manually and operate machinery safely while adhering to all personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols. Maintain inventory by accurately moving, storing, and tracking materials within the production area. Support machining and soldering tasks as needed, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are met throughout the process. Experience Proven experience in manufacturing or assembly environments with a strong understanding of mechanical assembly processes. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for precise assembly work. Skilled in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools for quality control. Knowledge of shop math principles necessary for measurements and calculations during assembly. Experience operating power tools, pneumatic tools, soldering equipment, and specialized industrial tools safely. Ability to read production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions diligently.
