Our employees are actively involved in the design, engineering and manufacture of technologically advanced medical devices that ensure that we meet our customer’s quality specifications for each product we produce.We are looking for an Assembly Reclaim/ Scrap Specialist to join our Greenwood, IN facility on a 1st shift schedule. You will process product (trays, lids, brackets, etc.) after MRB for scrap or rework.What You’ll Do:Tracks rework quantities and products (work order and part number), communicates information to scheduling department through Traverse for work order release on remakes, etc. Tracks NCMRs in accordance with the work orders, communicates this information to Assembly Lead for scheduling purposes. Submits appropriate information to the scheduling department for remakes, scrap, etc. Performs parts reconciliation for assembly according to the procedure and in line with quality policyFollows quality policy with all reworks, general workmanship standards, and ability to rework only MRC dispositioned partsAssembles remakes in accordance with work order requirementsCommunicates scheduling information (remakes, scrap, urgent work orders, etc.) to all assembly shiftsMaintains MRB cage, removing old product, organizing, and depositing as appropriate. Contacts scheduling, quality, or engineering department to determine disposition on product Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations; Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with safety and training guidelinesCross trains on assembly production.
