One Family.PURPOSE STATEMENTSupporting the shift management to effectively manage the production and warehouse operation of the Andover Site during the shift.To support the business to achieve high quality, low cost manufacture, attaining production plan alongside meeting customers' service and audit and regulatory requirements.To proactively manage the day to day issues and activities of Associates and operators on shiftSupporting and assisting the Shift Manager to ensure management of the shift is effective deputising as appropriate.Supporting specific improvement activities as identified by the Plant and Shift Managers.Working closely with key stakeholder such as Technical, Sanitation, Engineering, R&D and Planning amongst others to ensure an efficient and effective operation.To ensure products manufactured are safe, legal and comply to customers quality standards.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMESEnsure a safe working environment for all associates across the site and during shift.Embed food safety, hygiene and quality standards as appropriate to drive a quality food manufacturer, meeting Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPs) and legislative requirementUtilise operations capabilities; production, warehouse and sanitation to meet plan attainment requirements.Deliver operation's KPIs including OEE measures that meet/exceed company standards, customer and legislative requirements and current business needs.Supporting the Shift Manager in operational cost management, seeking opportunities to improve efficiencies and minimise costs.Supporting the growth and development of a team of highly engaged, high performing associates focusing on improvement of skills and development.Supporting the effective management in line with Company policies and Procedures, Associate life cycle activities such as absence, disciplinary etc. as deemed appropriate by the Shift Manager.During the shift will be responsible for production, warehouse etc, as directed by Shift Manager.Acts as the right hand to the Shift Manager forming a cohesive management unit on shift.Is able to deputies for the Shift ManagerAny other duties as deemed appropriate by the senior team.You must comply with Rich Products Limited Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCECriticalExperience in a ProductionTrack record of managing large operational functions or whole autonomous siteDemonstrable knowledge of operating production, ideally including warehouse and sanitationProven ability of taking ownership for delivery of results.Ability to manage and motivate large diverse teamsKnowledge of how to manage and lead factory and warehouse.Resilient, balanced and calm in challenging situations.Assertive, determined and not afraid to challenge the status quo.Emotionally intelligent leader who acts with humilityCoaching mindset and strong team builder.Solution finder, adaptable learner, constantly strives for improvementArticulate communicator and collaborative team playerAppreciation of ERP systems and planning systems.People Management experienceDesirableFood manufacturing experience.Ability to convert strategy into operating plansChange management and delivering results through CI activityUnderstanding of commercial and financial aspects of business and strategically applying this to operationsBakery manufacturing knowledge and experienceExperience and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics D365IOSH/NEBOSH certificate level.Rich Products Corporation welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
