Role Description The Application Engineer - Large Format Additive Manufacturing will play a critical role in delivering technical expertise and support related to our advanced 3D printing systems. Responsibilities include providing technical support to customers, assisting with installation and setup processes, developing and optimizing software applications, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and conducting rigorous testing of new equipment and workflows. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Greater Boston, requiring close collaboration with engineering, production, and customer support teams to achieve project goals and ensure client success. Qualifications Proficiency in Technical Support, including troubleshooting and resolving customer issues to ensure satisfaction and system optimization.Experience in Software Development for 3D printing systems, including coding, debugging, and implementing updates to optimize performance.Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles, with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical components and systems.Familiarity with Mechanical Engineering concepts, such as machine assembly, maintenance, and designing for manufacturing.Expertise in Testing processes for ensuring system quality, functionality, and performance under various conditions.Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience with robotic systems (ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, or Universal Robots) and polymer manufacturing processes is a plus.Proven ability to manage projects, communicate effectively, and build relationships with clients.
