We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Lead a small team of software engineers supporting an advanced image analysis system Serve as the primary technical liaison for Space Vehicle software repository and architecture Collaborate with scientists and algorithm developers to integrate analytical capabilities into operational software Guide development teams in Agile methodologies, software engineering best practices, and architecture standards Conduct code inspections and peer reviews, providing technical recommendations on software organization Interface with external consumers and stakeholders, gathering requirements and translating them into Agile featuresWhat You'll Need Master’s degree with 15+ years or Bachelor's degree with 17+ years of relevant software engineering experience Deep hands-on experience with leading Agile Release Trains or scaled Agile environments Experience with simulation tools (preferably AFSIM) and MATLAB for algorithm modeling/analysis Experience designing and developing complex, modular software systems Proven ability to lead and mentor teams of 3 or more software engineers U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearanceWhat's On Offer Opportunity to modernize and sustain critical capabilities Work within a collaborative Agile environment Mentorship opportunities in software engineering best practices and CI/CD processes Competitive compensation reflecting experience and contributionsApply via Haystack today!
