We do a wide variety of residential projects, with a strong focus on *decks, bathrooms, remodeling, repairs, flooring, framing, and finish work*. This is not a position where you will do the exact same thing every day. I’m looking for someone who enjoys construction, takes pride in their work, and can handle different types of projects. *What I’m Looking For* The right person does *not need to know everything*, but you should have real construction or remodeling experience and be comfortable using tools and working independently when needed. You should be able to: * Perform basic and intermediate carpentry and framing * Read a tape measure accurately * Use common power and hand tools safely * Build and repair decks * Perform demolition and remodeling work * Install flooring, trim, doors, and other finish materials * Assist with bathroom and tile projects * Follow directions and solve problems in the field * Keep a clean and organized work area * Work efficiently without sacrificing quality Most importantly, I’m looking for someone who is *dependable*. Showing up on time, communicating, taking care of customers’ homes, and doing work you’re proud to put your name on are extremely important. *About the Company* Eugene Construction & Repair is a small, growing company. You’ll be working directly with the owner rather than being another number on a large crew. There is an opportunity here for the right person to grow with the company, take on more responsibility, and make more money as their abilities and responsibilities increase. I’m much more interested in what you can do, your willingness to work, your reliability, and the quality of work you produce. I’d rather have a conversation with a good tradesperson than overlook someone simply because they don’t have a résumé.
