About the RoleThe Process and Training Consultant/Application Engineer partners with TriMech clients to drive successful adoption and effective use of SOLIDWORKS and related solutions. This role combines technical expertise, training delivery, and customer support to help users improve their design, analysis, and manufacturing workflows. This position supports the New England territory and requires regular travel to TriMech offices in Marlborough, MA; Auburn, NH; and Rocky Hill, CT.You will be responsible for delivering training and support to clients, ensuring they effectively utilize SOLIDWORKS and related solutions.ResponsibilitiesDeliver instructor-led training for SOLIDWORKS, Simulation, CAM, and related solutionsContinuously develop technical expertise across the TriMech product portfolioSupport customers with application guidance and troubleshooting in real-world workflowsEngage with customers via phone, web, email, and onsite to ensure successful product utilizationApply structured problem-solving to resolve technical and workflow challengesMaintain training environments, including hardware and software, for in-person and virtual deliveryParticipate in customer-facing activities such as product rollouts, tradeshows, and seminarsContribute to the development of technical content, including how‑to tips and videos, blog articles, and white papersWork occasional evening hours for West coast client coverageQualifications4+ years of experience in design, engineering, or manufacturing (education may be considered toward experience)Strong understanding of design and manufacturing principlesWillingness to obtain relevant SOLIDWORKS certificationsStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both individuals and groupsProven ability to work directly with customers in a variety of environmentsValid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel, including occasional overnight staysFlexibility to deliver occasional evening training sessionsAppropriate citizenship or work authorizationRequired SkillsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldExperience with 3D CAD, particularly SOLIDWORKSExperience with CAM software or manufacturing equipmentKnowledge of GD&TBilingual (Spanish or French)Public speaking or presentation experiencePreferred SkillsHybrid Work ArrangementsFlex PTOCompetitive Group Benefits PlanPerkopolis Membership Access – Employee perk and discount programs.Wellness ProgramSocial EventsPay range and compensation package$75,000 - $85,000 USD per annum.
