Experienced Staff Accountant

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position for an Experienced Staff Accountant located in San Diego, CA. The role involves performing general accounting functions, including preparing monthly financial statements, reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, and preparing tax returns. Additional responsibilities include managing financial reporting, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with tax laws and accounting regulations, assisting with budgeting, and communicating financial insights to support decision-making.QualificationsStrong proficiency in financial reporting and general ledger accountingExperience with account reconciliation and tax preparationExperience with handling client requests and multitaskingProficient in accounting software and tools commonly used in the industryDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentStrong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and complianceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification (preferred)Experience in a bookkeeping or accounting firm is required.
