Technical Support Engineer

Do you enjoy working across technical disciplines to solve real-world problems?Are you interested in supporting cutting-edge large-format scanning solutions in a global environment?Join Global Scanning, where we design, manufacture, and support industry-leading scanners under our brands Contex and Colortrac, as well as through partnerships with Canon, HP and other OEM vendors.The PositionAs a Technical Support Engineer, you will be part of a global support team providing technical assistance to our distributors, who in turn support end customers. You will troubleshoot complex issues, guide service technicians, and contribute to continuous product improvement.Guiding service technicians through troubleshooting and repair processesSupporting distributors with product knowledge and solution developmentTesting scanners and software to deepen technical expertiseCollaborating with R&D in Denmark on product improvementsOccasionally traveling for on-site support and trainingYou will primarily work from our Chantilly, VA office while collaborating closely with global team members.QualificationsStrong technical background with hands-on problem-solving experienceAbility to understand and troubleshoot complex systemsExcellent communication skills and customer-oriented mindsetOrganized and able to work independentlyPreferred skills:Experience with electronics, sensors, embedded systems, or mechanicsKnowledge of IT infrastructure and networkingFamiliarity with Windows systems and file structuresBasic programming knowledge (a plus)Experience with digital imaging or tools like PhotoshopHands-on experience with mechanical or electrical repairsWhat We OfferA collaborative global support team (9 members worldwide)Exposure to international markets and technologiesClose interaction with R&D, sales, and production teamsOpportunities for travel and technical growthJ-18808-Ljbffr
