Reports to: Executive Committee, Board of DirectorsStatus: Full-Time, Non-Exempt/Salary Location: Virtual/Remote, Prefer Philadelphia regionSalary: Dependent on experienceJob Description:DMAX Foundation, a high-impact nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the mental health and emotional well-being of young people, primarily through DMAX Clubs on college campuses, is seeking a dynamic Executive Director who is experienced in growing organizations. The leader will drive rapid growth and expanded impact across the nation, ensuring the organization fulfills its mission of creating Conversations That Matter® on college campuses. Key Responsibilities:Fundraising & Revenue Growth: Lead efforts to secure and expand funding from grantors, corporate sponsors, individual donors, and other revenue streams.Organizational Leadership:Serve as the primary spokesperson, representing DMAX Foundation at events, in the media, and with key stakeholdersOversee day to day operations, including the budgeting, financial management, staff oversight, and general administration and operations.Inspire and lead staff, to maintain a professional, motivated and mission-driven organization.Program Development & Management: Ensure delivery of high-quality, impactful programs that align with DMAX’s mission and strategic goals.Develop and collaborate with other mental health organizations and leaders to enhance DMAX’s influence and reach.Strategic Planning & Execution: Partner with the Board to refine and implement the strategic plan for nationwide growth.Qualifications:Mission Alignment: Deep commitment to DMAX Foundation’s mission and goals.Fundraising Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful fundraising experience, especially with grantors, major donors, and corporate sponsors.Leadership: At least 7 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record in growing and managing nonprofit organizations.Visionary with an ability to keep the big picture in mind while managing details; hands-on leadership style; commitment to quality programs and data-driven evaluation.Mental Health Expertise (preferred): Background in mental health, psychology, social work, or counseling, with a deep understanding of mental health issues, particularly among young people.Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MSW, or similar) preferred.DMAX Foundation is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.
