LPN-Adult Surgical Step-down Unit (MS2/West Hospital) 36 hours/week Job Description Overview IU Health is searching for an LPN to join the team! We are looking for flexible and willing to jump in when needed to help nurses and PCA's and who is passionate about providing the best care to our patients. Key Daily tasks: medication administration, communicating with nursing team, assisting with ADL's Physical Location: 1111 Ronald Regan Parkway, Avon, IN 46123 IU Health-West Hospital Unit: MS2 (Adult Surgical Step-Down Unit) Hours: 3-12 hours 6:30am-7:00pm Rotating weekends/holidays (Flexible weekend staffing. Must choose four weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period & must choose holidays for the year. Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team. Evaluates response to interventions and patient status toward goal achievement. Accepts delegated nursing measures for which he or she knows he or she is prepared, qualified and licensed to perform. Requires graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program. Requires an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
