You will guide the team through the systems engineering “V”, ensure rigorous requirements development, and champion a culture of technical excellence.Your Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To Providing technical direction across the systems engineering “V” and ensuring delivery of high quality engineering artifacts Collaborate with government and customer representatives in support of critical space-based daily operations and distributed multi-element deliveries and activities Perform staffing and performance responsibilities; in coordination with HR and established processes Communicating technical status, risks, and recommendations to program and functional leadershipDesired Skills Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) Familiarity with DoD program support Demonstrated Program/Project Management and/or leadership skills FBM Weapon Systems Programs Missile/Space Weapons Systems Customer interaction and familiarity with the DoD Flight Test Ranges/Facilities Understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, principles and tools Broad experience of Systems Engineering life cycle process and tools Proposal preparation, BOEs Knowledge of program management, finance, contracts, Earned Value Management (EVM) and demonstrated business insight Recognized as an authority in systems thinking techniques with the demonstrated ability to apply them to a wide range of complex problems and train others in their application Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering Active Top SecretOther Important InformationBy applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
