Nurse for Residential Treatment Center
Job Description
Blooming Bridge LLC is seeking a dependable and compassionate Nurse to help support daily operations at our residential treatment center. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, adolescents, behavioral health settings, or residential care programs.This role will support the facility by helping ensure residents' medical needs are properly monitored, documented, and coordinated with healthcare providers, caregivers, and the treatment team.ResponsibilitiesReview and monitor resident medical records, medications, and health-related documentationAssist with medication oversight, medication administration review, and documentation complianceProvide guidance to staff regarding medication procedures and health-related concernsCommunicate with physicians, pharmacies, schools, guardians, caseworkers, and treatment team members as neededSupport health assessments, appointment follow-ups, and care coordinationHelp ensure medical documentation is accurate, organized, and up to dateProvide staff education on basic health, medication safety, infection control, and emergency response proceduresAssist with preparing for audits, inspections, and licensing compliance related to medical careRespond appropriately to resident health concerns and advise when further medical care is neededQualificationsCurrent Texas LVN or RN license requiredExperience working with children or adolescents preferredBehavioral health, foster care, RTC, residential care, or psychiatric experience is a plusStrong documentation and communication skillsKnowledge of medication administration and healthcare compliance requirementsAbility to work professionally with staff, youth, families, and external providersMust be dependable, organized, and able to maintain confidentialityIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is patient, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a residential setting with youth who may have emotional, behavioral, or trauma-related needs.
