They provide an environment that encourages career growth, and employees often find opportunities to advance both nationally and globally.Job Description:The Air Import Agent will oversee and manage the logistics of air imports, including shipment tracking, documentation, and client communication. This role is essential for coordinating the end-to-end process of air import shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while meeting all compliance requirements.Key Responsibilities:Track and trace shipments using Cargowise softwareCoordinate with clients, international colleagues, and various vendors, such as airlines, warehouses, and trucking companiesManage billing processes and audit vendor invoicesOrganize delivery of air imports and process necessary documentationApprove freight invoices and credit notes in alignment with agreementsEnsure compliance with customs and trade regulations and develop a strong understanding of client agreementsQualifications:Experience: 1-3 years in freight forwarding; experience in air import/export logistics is highly preferredEducation: Open to various educational backgroundsSkills: Strong attention to detail, process-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentSoftware: 1+ years of experience with Cargowise is highly preferredLanguages: Fluency in EnglishPerks:Opportunity for growth, with promotional paths available both within the U.S. and globallyCompetitive benefits package, including:Paid vacationMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLong-term disability and life insurance401(k) retirement planTuition reimbursement programAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
