You will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, respond to urgent medical needs, and guide care through clinical judgment and collaboration.This role is central to the treatment team-ensuring care plans are executed effectively, documentation is accurate, and patients receive consistent, safe, and therapeutic support. You will also play a key role in fostering an environment built on respect, safety, and inclusion.Minimum RequirementsMust be at least 20 years of ageGraduation from an accredited nursing programLicensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of KansasValid Driver's License and Auto InsuranceThree to six months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and trainingPreferred:Experience in behavioral health settings What You Will DoPerform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing reassessmentsAdminister medications using barcode scanning and monitor medication administration recordsReview and implement provider orders accurately and without delayCollect, document, and communicate patient data in the electronic health record (EHR)Monitor vital signs, allergies, and patient responses to medications and treatmentsProvide first aid and appropriate clinical interventions within scope of practiceCoordinate appointments and communicate with pharmacy partnersConduct admission and walk-in assessments as neededAssist with discharge planning and review discharge instructionsSupport patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, nutrition, and mobilityParticipate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and care plan adjustmentsLead or support hygiene and psychoeducational groupsRespond to crises using trained de-escalation techniquesEnsure full compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and all regulatory requirementsMaintain timely, accurate documentation before the end of each shiftCommunicate effectively with guardians, providers, and care teams Who You AreYou lead with clinical confidence and emotional intelligenceYou remain calm, focused, and decisive in high-pressure situationsYou treat every patient and colleague with dignity and respectYou are solutions-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentYou take ownership of your work and hold yourself to a high professional standardOur Culture and ExpectationsOur work is grounded in purpose.
