Hourly Rate: $20–$22/hourWhat You’ll DoCustomer Service & CollaborationServe as a welcoming point of contact for patient families, caregivers, clinicians, and community partnersProvide exceptional service while building positive, professional relationshipsPartner with internal teams to enhance the overall patient and caregiver experiencePhysician Signature & Plan of Care SupportTrack and obtain signed Plans of Care (POCs) from physicians and other ordering providersManage physician orders and documentation within myUnitySupport clinical teams by assembling and submitting initial and re-certification POC packetsEnsure timely and accurate physician approvals to support continuity of careOffice & Location SupportCoordinate daily office operations to maintain an organized, efficient, and professional workspaceManage documentation, records, and compliance trackingCoordinate logistics for meetings, events, and office activitiesOversee office supplies, equipment, and facilities needsAnswer incoming calls, distribute mail, and route messages appropriatelyProcess invoices in accordance with branch guidelinesProvide general administrative support as neededPersonnel & Staffing SupportAssist with onboarding, offboarding, and caregiver record maintenanceCoordinate fingerprinting and compliance requirementsSupport recruiting activitiesMaintain accurate, secure caregiver personnel files, including licenses and certificationsPrepare monthly evaluation and skills reports for leadershipServe as a backup for payroll processing when neededWhat We’re Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum of two (2) years of general office experienceStrong typing and computer skillsProficiency with Microsoft OfficePreferred QualificationsExperience in private duty, home care, or healthcare environmentsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsSkills & AbilitiesExcellent organization, communication, and time-management skillsStrong attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in high-pressure situationsCommitment to confidentiality and professional boundariesEffective problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilitiesPhysical & Work EnvironmentAbility to speak, read, write, and understand EnglishAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs as neededOccasional lifting up to 25 poundsOffice-based environment with occasional field visitsExposure to varied environments that may include allergens or other conditionsVaccine RequirementAs an employer participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs, Aveanna Healthcare requires employees to comply with applicable health and vaccination requirements, with exemptions available for approved medical or religious reasons.
