Position Title: Vice President, Global SalesReports to: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) / CEO / PresidentPosition SummaryThe Vice President, Global Sales is responsible for leading the company’s global sales strategy and execution to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition across all regions. This role provides executive leadership to regional sales teams while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and consistent sales excellence worldwide.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute global sales strategies aligned with company growth objectivesLead and manage regional sales organizations across multiple geographiesDrive revenue growth, pipeline development, and achievement of global sales targetsEstablish global sales processes, tools, and performance metricsPartner with marketing, product, and operations teams to optimize go-to-market strategiesOversee key global accounts and strategic customer relationshipsForecast sales performance and report results to executive leadership and the BoardManage global sales budgets, compensation plans, and incentive programsRecruit, develop, and retain high-performing global sales leaders and teamsMonitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamicsQualificationsBachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred20+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including global or regional rolesProven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targetsStrong experience managing distributed, multicultural sales teamsExcellent negotiation, executive communication, and leadership skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience in [industry-specific field, e.g., technology, industrial, energy, consumer goods]Experience in a multinational, matrixed organizationExperience selling complex solutions, enterprise products, or large-scale contractsCore CompetenciesResults-driven and customer-focused mindsetStrong commercial and financial acumenAbility to operate effectively across cultures and regionsHigh accountability and performance orientation
