Role Description This internship role focuses on Fundraising & Donor Development and is fully remote. Responsibilities include researching prospective donors, drafting compelling donor communication, supporting fundraising campaigns, maintaining donor databases, organizing virtual donor events, and assisting in the development of donor cultivation strategies. The intern will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising within the publishing sector. Qualifications Strong communication skills, including proficiency in professional writing and editingExperience or interest in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit developmentResearch skills, with attention to detail and the ability to synthesize informationOrganizational abilities for managing donor records and campaign logisticsInterpersonal skills and a passion for building relationships with stakeholdersProficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or CRM softwareInterest or background in publishing, literature, or arts and culture is a plus
