Deli Lead - Albany Chevron

Carson is seeking a responsible, proactive leader to join our Albany store Deli Team! Responsibilities include but not limited to:Punctual Deli opening Mon-Fri at 4:15AM Twice-weekly written Harbor orders derived from on-hand inventory using build to guideCompleting cook time lists and deli cleaning checklistsFollowing ALL health and safety/food guidelines and ensure coworkers are also in complianceTraining new hires in deli procedures and policiesCompleting end of month inventory with overall balanceTracking waste for adjustment of items cooked/cook times, as well as helping identify items to be discontinuedEvaluate deli processes and procedures and offer suggestions on improvement areasAssisting co-workers as needed during downtime with: Working backstock, wiping countertops, sweeping/mopping floors, dustingCleaning fountain and coffee areasOther tasks as assigned by management.Additional FunctionsReview and receive authorization from management prior to implementing any changesAdhere to company and store policies and proceduresMaintain a clean and professional appearance at all times (aprons and other supplies to assist with this effort to be provided)Learn, maintain, and operate all processes associated with the positionMaintain a team environment with other employees and departmentsMaintain a high level of customer service and friendly atmosphereProviding leadership/guidance for deli coworkers to ensure their success and the success of the deli.Working Conditions Will stand and walk for duration of shiftRegularly maneuver up to 20 poundsExposure to variable temperatures (indoor, outdoor, walk-in cooler)Work with cleaning solvents and chemicalsDaily exposure to gasoline and oil productsExposure to heat from hot oil (fryer) and ovenPlease apply online at www.carsonteam.com/careersFull-Time Benefits includeMedical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Aflac, Pre-paid legal, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Employee Assistance Program, and PTO.We are an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
