Job Description Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Location: Bay Area Hospital, 1775 Thompson Road, Coos Bay, OR 97420 Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Permanent) Shift: As assigned (to be discussed during interview)Overview: Bay Area Hospital, the largest hospital on Oregon's Southern Coast, serving a diverse catchment area of over 320,000 residents, is seeking an experienced, Board Certified CRNA to join our established, hospital-employed anesthesia team. This high-acuity Level III trauma center offers a dynamic environment for qualified professionals committed to delivering exceptional anesthesia and perioperative care.Key Responsibilities: Provide independent anesthesia services adhering to Oregon State regulations, hospital policies, and Medical Staff bylaws. Administer a broad range of anesthesia types, including various regional blocks, in a high-acuity setting. Collaborate effectively with a dedicated team of physicians and CRNAs, practicing autonomously within the scope of practice. Manage anesthesia for cases across multiple surgical specialties in a fully equipped facility, including 7 ORs, Endoscopy, Cardiology Cath Lab, and access to nearby ASCs. Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout all perioperative phases. Participate in scheduled on-call duties with equitable sharing; after-call days and weekends are rotated fairly within the team. Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of recent anesthesia practice experience; not suitable for new graduates. Board Certified in Nurse Anesthesia. Residency within or near Coos Bay required; relocation assistance may be provided. Must provide a current NPDB self-query report. Clear malpractice and background history. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary starting at approximately $305,218 gross annually for a full-time FTE at 95% productivity, commensurate with experience.
