In this role, the Director will play a vital role in managing one or multiple projects to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of care and satisfaction. You will leverage your expertise in the field to solve complex problems and own every aspect of the project lifecycle. Additionally, this role will actively participate in client meetings and will be responsible for creating and maintaining excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. If this sounds like you, and you believe you’d be a good fit, we strongly encourage you to apply!Key Responsibilities: Documentation development with improved quality and efficiency Manage multiple projects of varying complexitiesOversee the planning, design, construction/installation, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring project goals, budgets, and schedules are met.Coordinate with design teams to ensure MEP system designs meet project specifications, regulations, and sustainability goals. Manage and perform all tasks required to deliver a project: Contract review and developmentCost estimate/report reviewIndustry benchmarkingEffectively develop documentation, including the following: RFP’s Project schedulesAction items matrices Meeting minutes and agendas Participate in client presentations for new workComfortably and efficiently chairs project meetingsKnowledge, Skills, and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, construction, architecture, engineering, or a related field10+ Years of experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or a related field5+ Years of experience leading teamsIn-depth technical knowledge of MEP system design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and operations.Knowledge of sustainable building practices, energy-efficient MEP systems, and cost estimating is a plus.Relevant certifications (PE, LEED AP, CEM, etc.) are desirable.Technical or professional license preferredExperience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyProficient in Microsoft SuiteExperience in Microsoft Project is a plusExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsPhysical Requirements:Attend client meetings as requiredCore Competencies:Drives Results- Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstancesPlans and Aligns- Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organization goalsResourcefulness- Securing and deploying resources effectively and efficientlyManages Ambiguity- Operating effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clearSituational Adaptability- Adapting approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
