Our specialized experience includes design for data centers, healthcare, science and technology, high-rise buildings, clean energy, education, and other building types as well as structural and building sciences, infrastructure asset management, advanced robotics, and more.Our technical expertise is paired with an exceptional team of business development, human resources, finance and accounting, information technology, and marketing professionals, all of whom play a key role in bringing our commitments to life every day.Job SummaryOur office in Oakland, CA is looking for a Structural Staff Engineer to design commercial buildings such as schools, retail, offices, medical, religious, industrial, petrochemical control buildings, multi-family projects, luxury resorts, and more.In This Role, You WillSpecific duties of the role include but are not limited to:Responsible for the production of engineering documents such as reports, calculations, 3D models and drawings that are complete and technically accurateResponsible for handling interactions with clients regarding technical design issues, coordination of document preparation, and submittal schedulesUtilize design software such as RISA, Enercalc, RAM, Bluebeam, and REVIT to produce construction drawingsYou will be a great fit if you have the following:Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil with Structural Engineering Emphasis from ABET accredited school (required)0 to 3 years of experience in consulting environment with commercial building focusExperience in commercial building foundation, framing systems and lateral system design is a plusStrong time management skills and self-starter a mustLocation: Oakland, CACompensation & BenefitsThe expected base hourly range for this role is $40 - $44 per hour.
