Private Equity Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES:Handle all finance and accounting related matters to private equity fundsReport all daily accounting activity in systemHelp with preparation of financial statementsWork with capital allocationsBuild out reports for investor meetingsWork with investor relations to provide portfolio financial informationMonitor all cash activity including reconciliationsWork with different departments of firm including compliance for legal documentationPrepare and report on all investor callsEXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance2-5 years experience in public accounting or alternative investment firmExperience with private equity preferredCPA preferredStrong GAAP knowledgeExcellent Excel skillsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with upper management and interface with all departments#40762
