Part Time PCA - Sat/Sun Evening

About Us: Caregivers 24/7 is a leading home care provider for senior residents in the Triangle. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and committed professional to provide in-home care to a male client in Southeast Raleigh (27610). As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting our client in their home while ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. Duties: Provide friendly companionship, conversation, and emotional reassurance Engage in memory-stimulating activities such as reading, puzzles, or music Offer gentle reminders for daily routines, medications, and meals Support memory care by maintaining familiar routines and a calm environment Support client in maintaining a clean and safe living environment Assist with meal preparation and perform light housekeeping duties Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition and/or behavior Maintain accurate documentation of care provided Skills & Experience: - Minimum two years of experience as a PCA within a home care environment - Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and ability to effectively respond to emergencies - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality - CPR certified preferred but not required - Negative TB test - Must reside in SE or SW Raleigh, or no more than a 15-minute drive - Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and religions Benefits: - Starting pay for PCAs - $15.00 per hour - Part time schedule (6pm - 8pm) - Bi-weekly pay and Tapcheck - Direct deposit - Free uniform - Ongoing training and professional development opportunities - Supportive work environment (Caregiver Mentor Program) Qualifications: - Minimum high school diploma - Valid driver's license, proof of liability insurance, and reliable transportation - Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families, we encourage you to apply for the position of PCA.
