You will work directly with customers, managers, and technical staff to understand business needs and develop technical plans that deliver mission-critical solutions. Your expertise will drive the coding, planning, testing, and deployment of software solutions while ensuring integration across different systems, libraries, and applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and fine-tune solutions, while providing tiered support to customers and development teams.You Will Excel If You Are:A strategic thinker who can architect and maintain complex software systemsExperienced in delivering software solutions in cloud environments (e.g., AWS)Proficient with software optimization and performance improvementsA problem solver who can troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issuesComfortable with a variety of programming languages and technologiesAn effective communicator and team collaboratorCommitted to sharing software engineering best practices and knowledgeA Day In The Life Of:Collaborating with customers, managers, and technical teams to gather business requirements and develop technical plansArchitecting, developing, and maintaining secure software and repository solutionsConnecting coding elements, libraries, and applications to ensure successful software releases across different operating systems and infrastructuresCoordinating with multi-functional teams to formulate, implement, and fine-tune software solutionsProviding multi-tiered support to customers and software development teamsSharing best practices in software engineering and establishing strong, collaborative relationships with government customers and peersMust Have:TS/SCI with Polygraph clearanceBachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline20 years of experience architecting, developing, and maintaining software solutions, with an emphasis on performance optimizationsProven experience with architecting, developing, deploying, and maintaining complex software systems in cloud environments (e.g., AWS)Experience with provisioning, virtualization, and containerization orchestrationDemonstrated success troubleshooting and solving complex problemsComfortable developing and maintaining software using various languagesExpertise in software engineering subject matter and customer support across diverse usersFamiliarity with artifact management tools (e.g., Nexus, Artifactory)Strong Linux scripting skills, Python experience preferredExperience with relational and non-relational databasesBasic understanding of cross-domain solutionsStrong monitoring and metrics skillsUp-to-date understanding of the open-source landscapeNice to Have:Excellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to effectively multi-taskClearEdge is an established small business that values its employees and is committed to providing an environment where individuals can succeed and grow.
