Controller

Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting - Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices - Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and analysis of variances - Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process - Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and ensure timely payments to vendors and employees - Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders - Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making and drive business growth - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and systems - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting and finance Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) - Proven experience as a Controller or similar role - Strong knowledge of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or other accounting software - Familiarity with governmental accounting principles and regulations - In-depth understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements - Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex financial data - Knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance requirements - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Food & Beverage, hotel and/or tourist industry previous experience Patrono que ofrece igualdad de oportunidades de empleo.
