Pay Grade: $15 per hourPay Type: HourlyReports To: After School Program CoordinatorMinimum Qualifications: Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program preferred.Goal: Assist students, staff and visitors in the school to maintain an efficient, courteous and orderly environment.Job Duties:Assists with roll call to ensure accountability for all studentsAssists in planning and implementing student activities for assigned classesAssists in maintaining proper records ? Assists in the distribution of snacksActively supervises students during daily activitiesMaintains expectations for students’ behavior and safety and informs Assistant Coordinator of difficulties requiring disciplinary actionAttends and participates in After School Program staff meetings and required training sessionsMaintains a good attendance record and makes Assistant Coordinator aware when needing to be absentFollows appropriate procedures for emergencies such as student or staff health concerns, severe weather, suspected fire or facility issuesEnsures adherence to good safety proceduresFollows federal and state laws, as well as School Board policiesPerforms other duties as assignedThis position is a temporary assignment; payment based on hours worked, and as work is available, with no eligibility or seniority for employee benefits. All employees are eligible to participate in the CCSD 403(b) or 457(b) retirement savings account.
