This organization is known for delivering engaging experiences to the public and fostering a collaborative, mission-driven workplace environment.Job Description:The Benefits Specialist will support the HR function by managing the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs. This individual will serve as a key resource for employees, ensuring a smooth benefits experience while maintaining compliance and accuracy across all programs. This role works closely with internal HR leadership and external vendors.Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing guidance and resolving issues in a timely mannerManage benefits enrollments, updates, and terminations within HRIS and vendor systemsOversee administration of programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), FMLA, disability, and workers' compensationPartner with third-party vendors and brokers to address claims, escalations, and program improvementsConduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with benefits data and regulationsSupport open enrollment planning, employee communications, and onboarding sessions related to benefitsTrack and manage leave programs, including FMLA and ADA accommodationsReview and reconcile vendor invoices and ensure timely processingAnalyze benefits data and trends to support reporting and decision-makingAssist in developing and documenting processes to improve efficiency within benefits administrationQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience requiredMinimum of 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR functionStrong experience with HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now preferredAdvanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysisKnowledge of FMLA, ADA, and leave management processesFamiliarity with 401(k) administration and workers' compensationExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyAdditional Details:Contract with opportunity for permanent hireIdeal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable building processes in a fast-paced environmentPerks:Free onsite parkingAccess to cultural and educational experiencesCollaborative and mission-driven team environmentOpportunity to make an impact within a respected organizationAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
