Job Title: People Experience Projects (Human Resources Generalist I)Location: Chicago, IL 60629Pay Rate: $28.99 – $32.25/hrWork Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PMDuration: 05/11/2026 to 09/30/2026Work Type: Hybrid (2 days onsite)Job OverviewThe People Experience Projects role is a specialized HR Generalist position focused on driving operational excellence and process improvement within the Chicago Bakery. The primary objective is to streamline and harmonize critical HR administrative functions, specifically targeting Time & Attendance, I-9 compliance, and Leave Management. This role requires a data-driven individual who can move beyond immediate fixes to build long-term, systemic solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesTime & Attendance (T&A) Optimization: Drive projects to improve T&A processes at the site.Capability Building: Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and build T&A capabilities among site managers to empower them to own and drive the process effectively.I-9 Compliance: Lead initiatives to streamline and harmonize the I-9 process to ensure full regulatory alignment and efficiency.Process Standardization: Develop and standardize localized processes for Leave Management, Time & Attendance, and Absenteeism Management.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with leaders and stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization to execute project focus areas.Key CompetenciesData & Analytics: High proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory.
